These deaf people earn only $80 a year in Brazil.
Anthony Caloroso, Jr. and his deaf wife, Maria
This deaf baby girl has five months to live, unless she gets a costly brain operation.
Please let me introduce myself. My name is Anthony Caloroso, Jr. I am a self-supported minister. I have also been deaf since the age of 8 I had a liver transplant in 1994.
By His grace, I’m part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made--I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure.
My entire life has been dedicated to helping the poor, the needy deaf people; those who are suffering, those overlooked by good fortune, those who have nothing else but the courage to move on and who struggle in a cruel and unfriendly world.
I live with my deaf Brazilian wife Maria in Hortolandia, Brazil, South America. I am sacrificing for my ministerial life of helping the poor Brazilian deaf people to be stronger, healthier people and to keep away from this life's potential dangers.
I have spent much of Maria's and my money to help deaf people with transportation, food, clothing, etc, and to promote their needs in our churches. I just spent $175 on new glasses for a 26 year old deaf girl who was almost blind. Now she can see well.
We serve them for Jesus´sake but I am on Social Security disability, so my income is low.
I just formed the Missionary Volunteer for the Deaf organization to promote money donations:
Could you please donate some money to help us and our programs in Brazil?
Many thanks and God bless you all in His service to Jesus Christ.
